Questions for Life

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom. (Colossians 3:16)

Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ. (Ephesians 4:15)

According to the Bible, Spirit-filled believers have much wisdom to offer one another when it comes godly living in an ungodly world. Yet, the reality is that we don’t always take advantage of the hard-won wisdom of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Part of the reason is that we just don’t know where to begin.

This is where we hope the “Questions for Life” listed below can come in. These questions are meant to serve as an on ramp into organic mentoring/discipleship between believers.

Your Assignment

So, here’s your assignment:

  • Consider a fellow church member whose life and godliness you respect. (Can’t think of one? Ask a pastor for a recommendation.)

  • Invite them out for a coffee or meal.

  • Bring these Questions for Life to them (you don’t have to get through them all!)

  • Grow in wisdom and grace.

  • Rinse and repeat.
